A family yacht company, built in Los Cabos

Otaduy Yachts is a family owned yacht charter and sales company based at Marina Puerto Los Cabos in San José del Cabo. Founded in 2003, it has spent more than two decades operating yachts on the Sea of Cortés for charter guests, yacht owners, and the resorts of Los Cabos.

The story

From one Bayliner to a fleet

  1. 2003

    Founded in Los Cabos as a family watersports operation with a single 17 foot Bayliner.

  2. 2000s

    Grew boat by boat into a charter operation on the corridor, learning the bays, the seasons, and the guests.

  3. 2010s

    Moved into yacht sales and grew the fleet boat by boat, keeping every operation in the family.

  4. Today

    A yacht company at Marina Puerto Los Cabos: charter and sales on its own fleet, official water toys dealerships, and OTOS, its own operations software.

The family

Two generations, the same dock

Augusto Otaduy Sr. founded the company in Los Cabos in 2003. His son, Augusto Jr., known to everyone as Gus, grew up on the boats and runs it with him today. The crew who started with them are, for the most part, still here.

Buyer representation and yacht sales in Mexico, from sourcing to closing paperwork.

Official dealers of Fliteboard, SEABOB, and BOTE, and home of the first Flite School in Los Cabos.

Otaduy Yachts is a family owned luxury yachting company founded in Los Cabos in 2003. What began with private yacht experiences has evolved into a complete yachting company offering private charters, yacht sales, yacht management, marine service and ownership support.

Hospitality remains at the center of everything we do. Whether we are welcoming a family aboard for the first time, helping a client acquire the right yacht or managing an owner’s vessel, our role is the same: to make the entire experience personal, effortless and worthy of their trust.

Standards

Operated like it matters

The company operates under SEMAR and SECTUR certification, with professional crews on every departure. Operations and bookings run on OTOS, software the company built for its own fleet. The same team that answers your first message runs the marina operation, which is why availability answers come from people who know where every boat is.

That operating record is also why Los Cabos resorts and their concierge teams place guests with Otaduy, including an official yacht partnership with Four Seasons.

Two decades on this coast

Otaduy has run its own boats out of Los Cabos since 2003. The evidence is in print and on film.
